Last week we realized that all of us (including Tessa) were getting cabin fever from being home so much. We decided to address this problem by taking a
little trip to the cape. We stayed in a "family friendly" hotel on the beach, which was packed with running, screaming kids so we didn't feel guilty about having an occasionally upset baby.
It was a great trip and Tessa did really well in a new place for the weekend. We took sunrise walks on the beach and realized that the only other people up that early are over 60 or are parents of kids under 5. We even spent a little time sitting on some beach chairs during one overcast afternoon.
As you can tell from the photos, Tessa loved it...
