Little Red Wagon

Before it got too cold last week, we had some fun on the back patio with Tessa's old wagon.  

Happy Birthday, Sister!

Today was Zoe's first birthday.  And Tessa helped us celebrate.  First, she entertained Daddy while Mommy worked with Zoe to perfect her birthday look -- this one-year old has a real sense of style!  

Then, she helped Mommy make a delicious cake for Zoe.  Tessa has perfected her pan greasing, stirring, and measuring skills.  

But when it came time to enjoy said cake, there were clear differences in the sisters' approaches.

I was taking a video of Zoe to show how good she is at standing up now, when I was interrupted by Tessa asking to take over. I thought that she'd stick to the theme of the video (Zoe standing), but she quickly took it in her own direction.
