Mimi

Tessa's maternal grandmother (aka "Mimi") came for a visit this week, as did her uncle Scott. Tessa had lots of fun with her visitors!

Blueberry Pancakes

We made some blueberry pancakes last weekend and Tessa was a big fan! Even her daddy was impressed by how much she ate. Tessa was so excited about the pancakes that she discarded her utensils and declared them finger food.

I love you, Sister!

Tessa is enthralled by her little sister Zoe.

For those blog aficionados who do not yet speak Tessa, here she says "I love you!" and repeats "gentle, gentle."

Some silliness

Tessa is actively exploring her world now. For example, she is very good at baby yoga. She knows several poses, including "elephant's breath", "dolphin pose", and the old classic - "downward facing dog."

Tessa is also learning how to climb onto the furniture, which requires extra supervision from her parents, since gravity is very good at helping her off the furniture. Her interest in climbing onto and into things sometimes leads to funny situations, like the other day when she climbed into an empty toy bin.
