Swim lessons

Tessa just finished two weeks of swim lessons. She still has a lot to learn (like floating and rolling over), but she got very good at putting her head under the water and kicking once or twice to reach for her teacher's hand.

On the last day (Friday), her teacher took some underwater pictures, which she shared with us. Tessa loves swimming so much now, that she didn't even want to get out when her lesson ended. We can't wait for her to continue her lessons when we get back to Boston.

 

 

 

 

2 years old

Tessa turned two years old on Wednesday. She got so many presents that it took her four days to open all of them and she says thank you to all of her adoring fans!

After opening presents, Tessa wanted to play in the front yard before dinner. She was wearing her cute birthday dress, and I couldn't help but snap a few photos.

On vacation

Tessa has been on vacation in Florida for a couple of weeks. Before we left, she was a little bit worried that she wouldn't have enough activities while she was away from home. Luckily, we have found plenty to do.

We went to the beach and Tessa learned the joy of putting her feet up and relaxing at the beach. 

She helped PopPop pick out some flowers at the nursery and she learned how to plant them. Now we check on the flowers every day to make sure they are staying watered.

And, she has been playing in the kiddie pool and trying out her new swim cap. The swim cap has come in really handy at swim lessons (in a real pool), which is she doing every morning. She is now enjoying them so much that she's asking for more when she's all finished!

Whew, glad to get that swim cap off my head so my hair can breathe!
