Tessa reinvents the 80's

We were playing in the back the other day and I looked over at Tessa and noticed that she had taken Zoe's hairband and wrapped it around her forehead, 80's style. I promise you that this was not a staged photo - she just decided this is the way she was supposed to wear it.

Tessa is really enjoying the fact that Zoe is getting bigger. The two of them are starting to get really interactive now. Here are some cute shots of Tessa holding Zoe's hand (arm?) while they go for a walk.

Tessa's Birthday Dance Party

Tessa had a dance party for her birthday!  We imagine in another decade that might have a different meaning, but for present purposes, it involved inviting her friends to her ballet studio and having a party with dance instruction, a Lion King story and costumes, cupcakes and singing (video to be posted separately), and an unplanned after-party with take out pizza at our house! 

I am "three!"

We are still finding sticky hearts all over the house.

Happy Birthday, Tessa!

Tessa is three years old! She's now old enough that there was no delaying the best part of the birthday - the presents. She had a huge pile of presents and got lots of fun stuff. Thanks to everyone for the presents!

 

 

 

 

 

Easter egg hunt

We had been talking about the Easter Bunny and his habit of hiding eggs all over the house in the week leading up to Easter. Needless to say, we got Tessa very excited about the prospect of searching for some eggs.

Now we're on the hunt. Maybe there is an egg back here?

 

Oooh, I see one, it's under here. Even Zoe is getting into the action!

And, of course, once the eggs were found, Zoe couldn't keep her hands off of them.
