It's been a busy couple of weeks for our family! We were very fortnuate that Mimi joined us in North Carolina, so that we could record the three generations of Tessa's family two years later. And we added Zoe to the mix! Somehow, we managed to convince Mimi to make the drive with us from the mountains of North Carolina to our new home in Alexandria, VA.
Our move-in date coincided with a freak weather storm in the DC area that left much of the region without electricity. Fortunately, our new place was unaffected by the storm, although the movers had to brave temperatures well over 100 degrees (which have not yet abated). In short, it is very hot here. Tessa has done her best to cool off by playing in the hose, but our best bet has been the air conditioning.

Wow! That looks like a fun play room! I bet Zoe will start crawling soon to play in there!!! Glad the move wasn't too bad and I hope the heat breaks a little bit but then again- you moved further south! We miss you tons and I started my new position today so the update was icing on the cake!
ReplyDeleteWe're so happy to hear that you started the new position and we hope everything goes smoothly with the transition! Tessa added you to her bedtime prayers this weekend and then asked when you were coming to visit. :).
